Riding WeRide in Singapore
Reservations go through the Ai.R link at rideair.ai, offered with Grab. The service runs on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., so there are no evening or weekend rides. Three options exist: Route 1, Route 3 and a 20-minute Mini Route, all within the Punggol residential estate. It's a scheduled, route-based service, so plan around the hours and stops rather than expecting door-to-door trips.
Grab said Safety Operators are onboard the vehicles. Rides stay free until commercial service begins, which Grab planned for mid-2026, followed by introductory discounted fares. That switch hasn't been confirmed, so check the reservation page for the current price. No age rule or airport link has been published.
Pony.ai runs the town's other robotaxi through ComfortDelGro's Zig app, on a route that reaches Punggol Coast MRT and nearby malls. WeRide's Singapore setup is unusual for the company. In the Gulf it is booked on Uber, with fully driverless rides in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. At home in Guangzhou it runs driverless around the clock. Here it works with Grab on a booked shuttle model.
