Robotaxi at DAL: testing

No robotaxi serves Dallas Love Field yet. Waymo is running fully autonomous testing at the terminals and says it will serve travelers soon. It opened Dallas to all riders on Aug 4, 2026, across about 50 sq mi of central Dallas from Northwest Highway south to the Bishop Arts District, and said the same day that Love Field service was coming.

Until that starts, plan to begin or end your robotaxi trip somewhere inside the city service area and use another option for the last stretch to the terminal. DFW is not on Waymo's airport list. Tesla Robotaxi and Avride also run in Dallas, and neither has airport access.

Love Field also sits on the west edge of Tesla Robotaxi's Dallas zone, about 31 sq mi from Downtown north through Oak Lawn and the Park Cities to Bluffview, but no source says Tesla picks up or drops off at the terminals. Avride, booked on Uber, keeps a specialist behind the wheel in a 9 sq mi downtown core that stops well short of the airport. Waymo's airport help page lists the exact pickup spot for each airport it serves, so that page is where Love Field details would appear first.
