Luggage, pets and car seats
None of Waymo, Zoox or Tesla supplies a child seat, so you bring and install your own. Bags can ride inside the car if they're secured. Pets should stay home, though Waymo and Tesla allow service animals.

Luggage
Waymo: bags can go in the cabin or the trunk. Large items need to be secured inside the car, and nothing may stick out of the vehicle.
Zoox: the rider manual says to put small items on an empty seat and backpacks or suitcases on the floor in front of you. Foldable wheelchairs and walkers also go on the floor, which may reduce how many people can ride.
Tesla: under the rider rules, total load is capped at 800 lb in a Model Y and 600 lb in a Cybercab. Riding in the trunk of any Robotaxi is strictly prohibited.
How many people fit
Four riders is the most a Waymo takes, and nobody may use the driver's seat. Zoox has four seats facing each other, each with a belt meant for one person. Tesla allows four passengers in a Model Y, none in the front-left seat, and two in a Cybercab. A large group with suitcases may need two cars.
Pets and service animals
Waymo says service animals are always welcome but asks that pets stay home because of allergies. Tesla allows service animals for riders with disabilities and no other animals. The Zoox rider manual doesn't address animals, so ask Zoox Support before bringing one.
Car seats and boosters
No service supplies a child seat. Waymo requires a car seat you bring for children under 8, installed in the back, where the rear seats have LATCH (ISOFIX) anchors and top tethers. Under-8s may not sit in front.
Tesla asks you to bring and install a suitable car or booster seat wherever the law requires one. According to TechCrunch, the Cybercab has no LATCH anchors, so seats there go in with the seatbelt.
Zoox makes the parent or guardian responsible. Its manual says children 8 and older who are under 4'9" should use a booster, and those under 4'1" a high-back booster.
Smoking and cleaning fees
