Robotaxi at SFO: Waymo pickups

San Francisco International Airport, San Francisco Bay Area. Status: Served

Updated .

Waymo serves San Francisco International with two limits. Since Jan 29, 2026, SFO access has gone to a limited number of riders, so your app may not offer it yet. The cars also skip the terminal curbs. You meet them outside the Rental Car Center, about 15 minutes away on the AirTrain, or near the valet at the Grand Hyatt at SFO, about 10 minutes on the AirTrain. Both points work for pickup and drop-off.

If SFO isn't showing for you, the rest of Waymo's Bay Area service is open to anyone in the Waymo app, across San Francisco, the Peninsula and San Jose. San José Mineta has Waymo pickups at its terminals, so flying into San Jose instead may be the easier route. Tesla's Bay Area rides have a human driver and do not include airport service.
