Riding Zoox in Las Vegas
Zoox runs stop to stop. You pick from a list of resorts, venues and the airport, and the car meets you at that designated spot rather than any curb. Paid rides started on Aug 10, 2026, after nearly a year of free public rides that began on Sep 10, 2025 with 5 stops. Since Sep 3, 2026 the list has included Harry Reid International, with pickup on Level Zero of the parking garage at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and drop-off at the departures curbs.
A Zoox Concierge may help at a stop, and the app tells you when your ride has arrived. Doors open only on the curb side, and once they close you tap START RIDE on the rider screen, though the car won't move until everyone is seated and buckled. Fares combine a base with distance and time, show before booking and hold if the route changes, and airport trips or busy Sphere and T-Mobile Arena events can add a destination fee. Upgraded Points reported hours of 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily, and rides are for adults, with children welcome alongside a parent or guardian who handles belts and booster seats.
No other Las Vegas robotaxi reaches the airport. Waymo works door to door in a 24 sq mi zone but admits riders from a waitlist and skips the airport and freeways. Motional on Uber keeps an operator behind the wheel, and Tesla holds a permit but carries no public riders.
